After watching The Serpent on BBC, I couldn’t resist getting my flares out! See some outfitting ideas for daywear, smart/casual wear or even evening wear. Both pairs (at two different price points) are stretchy and supportive and being such a lovely dark indigo wash they really can be worn for any occasion (perhaps not wedding wear, unless the dress code allows!). They are also so flattering on the leg!
The £40 pair also come in black, three lengths and they also come in petite. I think it is worth having a think once you try them, whether you would get most use out of them as an everyday jean or evening jean so you can have them tailored accordingly so the hem doesn’t get frayed if wearing with a flat shoe. In the example of outfits above, the heels I have kept to a low block and the trainers are a flatform so there is the ability to keep them one length as all three shoes would give you extra height so they would wouldn’t drag on the ground! Ideally you only want to see a peep of the shoe toe so I would recommend playing with different shoes before tailoring so you don’t get too much length taken off.
